A: “Well…. Moving along before Gabriel bites you, Carmen.  Are you still working or did you sell the business?  What about you Gabriel are you still managing the web business?”

G: Nods at me in thanks, “I will be managing the web business forever, even if I have to change my name every decade or so.  Someone has to manage all of the family’s stocks and I am best at it.”

A: “That’s awesome.  Carmen, are you and Lissy still working together?”

C: Reaches over and places her hand on Gabriel’s thigh, “We closed the business down.  I still see Lissy at least once a week but we don’t go out much anymore.  She is still recovering and refuses to let me help her forget.”

A: “I know it must be tough, having the ability to help her and she isn’t willing to let you.  Just stay strong for her, I am sure that in time she will heal.  Until then, just love her.”

G: Puts his hand on top of Carmen’s and raises his eyebrow in my direction, urging me to find a new subject to talk about.

Eggcerpt
The peal of the church bells from the abbey tower startled Genevieve. The sound added to her mounting anxiety.
The massive abbey loomed over the stone paved path. All the nuns were at evening mass. With a bit of luck her disappearance would go unnoticed for a few more hours. The Abbess would assume she was cleaning the toilets as ordered.
Fear skittered through Genevieve when she turned away from the abbey towards the path leading to town. Nothing stirred. She hesitated. Evil emanated from the forest surrounding the abbey. With a shiver, she leaned against the solid oak gates that flanked the abbey’s main path. They had hidden her from detection for the past couple of hours, but how much longer would she be safe?
The mountain shadows grew thicker and closer.
She moved her weight from one leg to the other. They ached from so much standing, but she lacked the strength to return to the gardener’s cottage and wait for Andrew’s arrival as planned. Genevieve closed her tired eyes. The image of old Ryan, slumped dead in his chair in his cubicle, caught life in her mind and made her whole body ripple with fear.
She’d rather wait for Andrew here, outside.
Had he forgotten his promise? What if something terrible befell him during the last three days, or he had changed his mind? Why should he risk all for an ordinary nun?
Had his folks talked him into giving her up, made him see reason? Helping her out of her predicament meant a huge risk for him — losing his family, his friends and his position among his peers. His words echoed in her mind. “I will risk everything for you, even life, if necessary.”
* * * *

“Anne, Anne, wake up. Wake up, please,” the insistent voice whispered next to her ear. The touch of a hand, on her shoulder, startled Anne.
She opened her eyes, still half between sleep and reality. Her gaze stopped on a stranger, a woman, by her side.
The moon’s pale face, the only light, filtered through a small gap in the tent’s entrance; yet the stranger’s whole body emanated a kind of soft ray, a yellowish halo making her figure and face easy to discern.
A long, dark robe, similar to those worn by nuns in monasteries centuries ago, covered her body. No traditional headdress covered the woman’s red hair, which fell loosely over her shoulders in long, heavy tendrils and continued down her chest and back.
Anne stood up and studied the intruder with open curiosity. The stranger’s wax pale face looked corpse like. Anne opened her mouth to ask her who she was. She looked Anne straight in the eyes, placed her forefinger on her lips and whispered, “Hush, come. Follow me.”
Anne’s eyes widened.
The woman, moving away from the sleeping bag, appeared to glide above the ground. Her bare feet didn’t make a sound.
As if hypnotized, Anne followed the illuminated silhouette heading into the forest, without questioning her own actions.
An onrush of sensations unfamiliar to her followed. Dizziness and a malevolent feeling of unreality suffocated her. The presence of evil, creeping up and enveloping her, became almost palpable. Her throat turned dry, and she gasped for air.

Character interview -Genevieve
1. Please, have a seat. Make yourself comfortable Miss…
“Genevieve. My name is Genevieve, but Sister Clementa, the Abbess, and some of her followers call me The witch.”
2. Tell me, Genevieve, where are you living?
Genevieve ( a small sigh escapes her lips. Then she shrugs) “Well, for the moment I reside at St. Mary’s Abbey. On top of a mountain in Britain, in the…cursed forest.”
3. Do you have any schooling?
Genevieve (nods and pats and invisible crease of her dress) “Kind Old Bertha, who took care of me after my family perished, taught me to read and write. Not only English but also Latin. And, most important, she taught me how to prepare healing potions from plants and herbs. Perhaps that’s why the Abbess hates me so much. A peasant girl of the 13th century is dangerous if she knows more than her superiors, I think.”
4. What are your worst fears or nightmare?
Genevieve (throws a shy look around her. She shivers and her voice is small) “I fear the cursed forest. This forest is responsible for what happened to my family. My father’s odd behavior, the death of my siblings. All the evil that lurks in it.
My nightmare – the Abbess, sister Clementa, who threatens me all the time with sending me to the stake. I can’t understand why she wants me out of the way.”
5. Is it anything that you secretly desire?
Genevieve (blushes and wrings her hands. Then she looks me directly in the eyes. Her voice is strong now. ) “To become Andrew’s wife and grow a family. If his family agrees….If the Abbess lets me go… If God forgives me for giving up being a nun…..If I escape alive from the forest…. If….”

Eggcerpt from The Cats of Cullaby Creek

Kelly and Kyle
These two shared some sort of history. And now I was in the middle of their story.
Sparks flew through the air. But, they didn’t seem to notice—or maybe they just didn’t care how uncomfortable they were making the rest of us.
I scanned the room. The terribly odd thing was that while they stood in the center of the cafeteria—arguing—everyone’s eyes were on me.
What is so interesting about me?
After a few seconds, I heard whispered accusations slammed back and forth, like a ping-pong ball. My name, muttered in odd and angry tones. No one seemed to mind staring at me, but only the bravest few were sneaking sideways glances over at Kelly and Kyle, hoping no one noticed.
This wasn’t what I needed on my first day at a new school. I hadn’t come here looking for instant enemies, but I knew I’d accidentally stirred a private pot and things were already starting to boil.
I needed to do something and quick. From the sounds floating around me, if they got into an actual argument, I was going to get the blame.
I spit out the first words I could think to say, “What’s a new kid to do, after school, around here… for fun?”
Kyle sighed and chuckled, “That depends on what you’re hoping to find and what you think is fun.” He stepped back away from Kelly for a moment. “You big city kids always think something needs to be going on. But in real life, in a small town, not much ever happens.”
“We could ask my Mom to drive us into Astoria to do some shopping,” I suggested. It was a little too obvious—even to me—Kelly wanted me out of the picture and was trying everything she could think of to keep me away from Kyle. I almost felt sorry for her—but only for a second.
“Or,” Kyle sat down and nodded for me to join him. I could feel a warm rush of air and his scent worked its way up inside my head. I barely heard him finish, “We could go for a run.”
“What?” Kelly demanded, clenching her hands into tight-balled fists at her side.
“Savannah,” Kyle lowered his voice and said my name slow, putting an emphasis on the last syllable, like it was a soft sigh, ‘ah’. And, for the first time in my life, I loved the sound of my own name. “Is a runner. And she’s fast. Aren’t ‘cha?” He nudged me and moved even closer. I could barely think. His smell overpowered my senses; it was the sweet woodsy scent of him that took me by surprise. I closed my eyes and drank it in.
When I opened them back up, Kelly’s eyes were shooting red flames of rage straight at me.
I gazed at Kyle and felt a warmth in my stomach again. It was working its way up into my chest. “That’s not what you said this morning,” I laughed then spun away.

#EggcerptExchange -Tina Gayle

What is that I hear you say? You’d like to meet another author from the Eggcerpt Exchange? Well as luck would have it I have one here for you right now 🙂

eggs

So here I have for you Tina Gayle who would like to tell you a little about her book “Summer’s Growth”.

Blurb for Summer’s Growth.
summersgrowthIn the spirit-haunted Winston estate in Ohio, rooted in time and occupied by the lingering ghosts of a great family, the torch is about to pass…

Mattie Winston, sober, sensible, and steady, has served as Keeper to the family for decades. Amber Harrison, hovering on the edge of flunking out of college, unsure what she wants out of life, has barely even heard of the Winston estate. The family, however, has decided that it’s time for the changing of the guard. These two exceptional women soon find themselves dealing with violence, murder attempts, and old family mysteries while each finding the love of her life. Two romances and a growing friendship, all twined around a brooding family tragedy, make for an outstanding paranormal mystery offering depth and charm beyond the commonplace. The growing love of Amber and Carter and of Mattie and Quincy offer readers a tender and engaging first novel in a winning new paranormal series.

Excerpt:
Was she insane? Why agree to spend time at a place she’d never been before with people she didn’t know?
Fear and eagerness warred in her stomach. Breathing rapidly, she inhaled the scent of her peppermint gum. The crisp fragrance reminded her of her grandfather’s breath mints, and she took another deep breath to calm her shaky nerves.
Past the point of no return, even if the adventure ended up to be a free trip to nowhere. Whatever happened she’d see it through.
The soft leather seat cooled her skin. Tired from her long trip to Ohio, she leaned her head on the plush headrest. She used the relaxing motion of the car to recover some of her energy and turned her head to view the landscape outside the car.
Different from Southern California, no lollypop trees or car-packed freeways met her gaze. The road supported only a few cars moving along at a steady pace. Calm pastureland lined the highway with wildflowers dancing in the wind. Large limbs darting in every possible direction, small leaves announced spring to the world with their bright green foliage. No structures marred the view or broke the serene pleasure of the unencumbered land.
Yet, they’d only left the airport a few minutes ago.
Her mind wandered to the place where they were headed. She shot her silent driver a quick glance. She’d questioned the portly old gentleman about Winston Manor when she’d first arrived. He’d said they needed to get going and refused to comment beyond that.
Once in the car, she’d tried again. Her blue eyes caught his in the rear view mirror, and he assessed her value before glancing away.
Amber brushed her long, blonde hair back off her shoulder and tugged on her cotton tee shirt to straighten out the wrinkles.
“How long until we arrive at Winston Manor?” she asked.
He didn’t respond, almost as if he hadn’t heard. Unwilling to be rude, she decided to settle back in her seat.
The answers would come once she arrived at Winston Manor.

Please welcome Janie Franz author of Ruins Discovery

Blurb

Artifacts_200X300Anthropology grad student Kate Ferguson and Paul Rodriguez are in the steamy jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Dark secrets lurk around Paul, locked in the shaman stone he wears. They beckon especially to Kate who reads psychic impressions left in objects. Paul’s search for answers leads them and Dr. Juan Vasquez from the Museo National de Antropologia in Mexico City into the jungles of Mexico, the heights of Machu Picchu, and the art world of Lima and beyond.

When Paul launches out on his own, leaving Kate in Juan’s care, the anthropologists follow, hoping to reach Paul before old enemies from his past with murder on their minds find and kill him.

But the journey reveals disturbing answers and hidden secrets about Paul and Juan and a dark legacy for Paul’s heir. Kate is the key to the answers but finds herself very unsure where to place her trust.

Excerpt

Kate wasn’t sure what awakened her. Had it been the clatter of a lizard across the wood floor of the inn? Or had it been a snatch of disturbing dream that only vanished upon awakening? She stirred under the thin sheet covering her sweating body. As she rolled onto her back, the yards of mosquito netting swathed over the bedposts filled her vision in the dim light. Thin, gauzy, and delicate—how like bridal veiling it looked! But it was deceptive—not only did it protect her from flying pests, but it trapped air so well, breathing became a chore. Kate began to wonder if the netting, like a giant web, had not trapped her, too, to be offered up as sacrifice to a primal god like those just outside the window.

She shivered even in the muggy heat and squeezed her eyes shut, trying to keep memory from breaking into reality. But images leaked out—images of a blood-drenched stone, a bird figure, and an obsidian knife.

Kate reached across the pillows for Paul, needing to feel his healing presence. Her hand found only heavily starched muslin, coarse under her fingertips.

Excerpt
Chapter One
As Lana shielded her eyes from the sun with the back of her hand, she gazed up to the eight floors of the Princess Angeline Cruise Ship. The black, aqua, and gold colors of the Bahamian flag shifted in the sea’s breeze atop the massive ship. She’d learned from the brochure that the black represented the force and vigor of the united people of the Bahamas. The triangle pointing toward the body of the flag symbolized their determination and enterprise. The aqua and gold represented the rich resources of the sea and sun, in that order.
This would be Princess Angeline’s maiden voyage out of Charleston. Queen of the Atlantic Cruise Line originally operated out of California but had recently setup operations on the east coast.
She caught Tony studying her and she smiled to let him know she felt fine. She’d feared the large ship and had had to psych herself up for the cruise. Tony had taken her fishing last summer to familiarize her with the to-and-fro of the waves. When she told him that although she’d lived in Charleston all her life, she’d never been out on the ocean in a boat, he’d thought she was joking. It became evident the first time they ventured out that she wasn’t kidding at all.
Lana couldn’t believe she’d finally agreed to take a seven-day voyage across the Atlantic to the Bahama Islands. Nervous excitement supplied her with a giddiness like she’d never experienced.
Before leaving home, she’d made sure to pack Dramamine just in case she became sea sick. She’d heard many stories about trips being ruined just because someone hadn’t realized they’d be affected. Tony laughed at her, but of course, he’d been on cruises from the time he could walk.
As she neared the ship, her legs became heavier, hindering her movement. Dread filled her heart and she wondered if it was an omen that the trip would be plagued with sickness or could it possibly be a doomed ship that would sink into the vast ocean. “Something’s wrong,” she said, exhaling.
Tony placed a hand around her arm to lead her onto the ship. His blue eyes pleaded with her. “Come on. There’s nothing to be afraid of.”
He pulled harder but Lana planted her feet firmly, refusing to move. “I’m not afraid. It’s a feeling, an omen, that something’s wrong. Definitely wrong.” But as suddenly as the dark cloud had descended upon her, it was gone—a heavy burden lifted from her shoulders. Perhaps the foreboding was her fear of the large vessel, of being in the middle of the sea without any land in sight. She took in a deep breath to steady her nerves, determined she wouldn’t go there.
Tony frowned with apparent concern. “You okay? Should I cancel the trip?”
She forced a smile. “No. I’m fine now. Besides, it’s too late to get your money back. I can do this.”
“I don’t care about the money. I just want you to feel safe. I’ve done this many times, although, it’s been a while and I can assure you it’ll be okay.” He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her to him, and she laid her head onto his shoulder.
She snuggled deeply into the curve of his neck and placed a light kiss on his jawbone. “I trust you. I don’t know what happened. A deep-seeded dread came over me and all of a sudden I couldn’t move.”
“Where did it come from?” he asked, cradling her head to his chest as she turned in his arms.
“I don’t know. But as suddenly as my imagination went wild, it stopped. At first, I thought it was a sign that we shouldn’t go, and now I feel an urgency to board, like something is beckoning to me, like someone needs my help.”
“Will there ever be a trip where someone doesn’t need your help?” he asked with irritation but continued to strum her long brown hair.
“Please, Tony, don’t be like that. We’ve been married over a year. By now you should understand that I have no choice. It’s a calling and if there was anyone else to do it, I would step aside and let them have at it.”
His frown turned to a smile. “I’m sorry. I know. It’s just . . . I don’t know. I guess I’m just hardheaded sometimes. I’d hoped this would be one trip taken without any ghost drama. I should’ve known better.”
“You’re normally so understanding about my ghost drama,” she said, mimicking him. “What’s with you today?”
He shook his head as if trying to clear it from an unwanted thought. “I sense something sinister myself. I’ve never felt this before now. Could your gift be rubbing off on me?” True concern spread across his face.
“It doesn’t work that way, but it’s possible for a spiritual presence to change another person’s mood just by the person being in close proximity to the spirit’s negativity.” She rubbed his upper arm, causing heat to radiate through her fingertips. “Having a spiritual lightening rod, so to speak, meaning me, standing beside you could land you in the crossfire of electrical charges bouncing across the realm.”
“Let’s do this if we’re going to.” He picked up their luggage and placed it on the cart where it could be loaded onto the ship and then taken to their room.
Lana wrapped her arm around his and walked to the gangway that would lead them to the main deck. Dread started to come over her again but she whispered, “Not now,” and she pushed it away with her mind. She smiled. “Let’s go up top and pretend we have loved ones below seeing us off.”
Their friends wanted to come to see them off, but she’d told them not to. She hadn’t wanted to disrupt their lives since, due to recent Homeland Security concerns, it could take a long while to get through security to board.
His smile spread wider as he took her hand and traipsed along beside her. They climbed a narrow staircase. Once on top, they waved to the crowd below, letting themselves go. They laughed at their pretense.
Lana yelled over the side to the people, “Bye! See you in a few days.”
Tony followed suit. “We’ll miss you!” he said, chuckling loudly.
“Feels good to just let go and relax a bit, doesn’t it?”
“It does. I don’t know how I lucked up and found Gina to take care of business so I could take this time off. She’s a godsend.”
“Should I be jealous?” Lana cocked her head to the side.
He gave her that look that said she was being silly. “Gina’s almost young enough to be my daughter.”
His words weren’t meant to harm her, but they did just the same. She felt her eyes well up but pushed her emotions aside. They’d been trying to get her pregnant for a few months now with no luck, and she hoped this trip would relax her enough to make it happen.

Excerpt: (from chapter two Shocking Finds)

Marin needed answers. Like why had they been targeted? The parking lot hadn’t exactly been lacking for vehicular violence victim contenders. There had been a group of at least four women, standing by their cars, chatting. If there was a target more deserving of vehicular rage, it had definitely been that group of women. They had finished shopping, and courtesy demanded that their parking spots were to be relinquished as soon as possible. Why not them?
The man—and Marin was only guessing that the driver was a man—had bypassed those without parking lot etiquette and zeroed in on Lindal. If she had continued her slow progress through the parking lot, would Marin be in this horrible room with its beeping monitors and bleached air instead of Lindal.
Staring down at her aunt’s unmoving form, Marin tried to find a place to rest her hand. She needed to touch her. She needed to know that the only person willing to take her in, after the death of her mother, was really here and still alive.
“They will find him, Lindal. He won’t get away with this,” Marin made her vow as quietly as possible, not wanting to disturb Lindal’s recovery.
Glancing up to keep tears from falling from her eyes, Marin noticed something swinging off of Lindal’s oxygen line. “What the…” It looked like a Barbie doll with wings, perhaps six inches tall. The odd little creature wore a loin cloth and sported some overly obvious male attributes. Was it wrong to be checking out the abs of someone no larger than a child’s toy?
His arms tugged and his muscles bunched as he attempted to make a knot in Lindal’s oxygen line. His silver skin tone went beautifully with his tri-colored wings— a mix of light purple, maroon, and gold. The little man didn’t seem to realize that Marin was staring at him.
“Stop,” Marin shouted. Dammit, this was a hospital. She needed to lower her voice. She also needed to go upstairs to the psych ward. Head trauma, shock, or hallucinations something wasn’t right. If she told Lindal about this, her aunt would call her every kind of fool.
Hallucination or not, she grabbed the little man by the wings, pulled him from Lindal’s oxygen line, and tried to speak more calmly. “What do you think you’re doing?”
She finally had her figment’s attention. A striking, though small, pair of lavender eyes glared at her through overly long sandy brown bangs. On closer inspection, she could see that his hair was actually multicolored. It seemed to go from crystal white sand to bronzed gold.
“Well, answer me. What do you think you’re doing?”
“Waiting for you, of course.”
“What are you?” She was losing it. The buzzing in her temples was increasing. And she was now speaking to a figment of her imagination. Yep, she needed to be medicated.
The creature put its tiny fists on narrow hips. “A Sprite, of course. Don’t you know anything? I have my work cut out for me.” Now she was being insulted by her imagination. Great.
“Nope. Too Much,” Marin said and tossed the little man with wings out of the hospital window. She needed coffee. Either that or a large dose of Thorazine. Maybe both.
101_0322All About Tracey Clark!!

I am a country-twang gal from the bluegrass state. Kentucky is a hot bed of horses, cave systems, and whiskey. And I love all three. With my pugs and bossy kitty cat, I spend my days writing and working social media. I write with the help of the voices pushing me to create worlds for them to live in. Fantasy Romance, Contemporary Romance, and eventually some cowboys (because cowboys live in a group all their own, yummmm)… These are the genres that I love best. Oil paints, crafts, dealing with Multiple Sclerosis, and writing into the dead of night… this I my life!!!

Now… without further ado… here is Marin Yarthine…

Interviewer: You’ve had quick the introduction to the Fae world, Marin… Can I call you Marin..
Marin (reddened cheeks): Uhh… sure… I mean, that’s what most people call me… Kyland has been call me, Minzet, but I’m pretty sure that’s something just between us since it means Sweet One… but…yeah… Marin would be best.

Interviewer (light chuckle): Great. Well, I nice to finally get to sit down with us… and as the new Princess to the Fae people, with such an odd upbringing… the Fae would love to know a little pit about you… Tell us a little bit about day to day life in the royal world…
Marin: Pfft… Most of the time I think they have the wrong girl… I mean… I was home schooled, and have worked at Finder’s Keepers since I turned 17… for the past four years I have been slipping into Finder’s Trances in order to locate everything from pets to abduction victims… from car keys to family heirlooms… it sounds like important work but really, I mostly had to pull a bunch of information together so that other Finder’s could go out on Mission to locate whatever the client had misplaced…

Interviewer: That sounds like important work to me… also, something that would take a toll on your emotions… do you have someone to cuddle up to at night to help you get through the day???
Marin (Cheeks now flaming red): Kyland… he came out of nowhere and changed my life… and he doesn’t even mind when I accidentally shock him with this new power that has a tendency to get out of control when I’m upset…

Interview: …. (shuffles through questions) … (scoots chair back and grits her teeth)… What goals and hardships do you face… what do you want for the Fae?? I mean… what are your plans to keep the Fae community safe?? (scoots back a little further…)
Marin (head cocked to the side): I’m still learning about the Fae world.. but I would say my goal is to keep as many people safe as I can… (fists clench) … if the evil Fae, those Danshue ********… sorry for my language, but if they would just stop getting in the way, I could learn a little faster… someone needs to stop the Danshue before this community I’m just getting to know dies out…

Sparks light up on Marin’s hands, but Interviewer merely gets a white
Knuckled grip on her set and continues…

Interviewer: One final questions and we will let you get back to your new duties as Princess… Can you tell us what fears you are facing in this new chapter of your life???
Marin: … (Deep Breath…) Lindal… that the woman that pretended to be my only family, that kidnapped me as a child (sparks on her fingertips) … that she will find a way to finish what she started… (more sparks) … that she will find a way to hurt the people I am coming to care about… that she will hurt KYLAND … (small explosion blowing out all the lights)

Interview warily pulls herself up out of the floor, where she dove to avoid flying glass…

Interview(voice shaky) : Alright… I think that’s all we have time for… thanks for stopping by Princess…

#EggcerptExchange – Michelle Abbott

Hello my little bloglings and welcome to the first in a series of posts in which I will introduce to you some great books, and their authors, as part of an Eggcerpt Exchange.

So let’s begin with my first guest the romance author Michelle Abbott

Author Michelle Abbott writes new adult romance. She currently has four books published.

JEM book coverJEM
Two injured, stubborn souls meet unexpectedly. Will they save each other from their demons or have they been too damaged for too long to see past the pain?

Growing up, all Jem knew was hatred and the pain from his father’s fists. Taunted by the kids at school, he was alone, until a girl with carrot coloured hair sat next to him.

She smiled.
She listened.
She cared.

She was his angel, and he knew he’d love her forever. But Jem’s father hurts him in a way he never expected by taking him away from her.

Now eighteen, scarred inside and out, Jem trusts no one and has worked hard to ensure he’ll never be helpless again. But then he runs into his angel. The only problem is she doesn’t recognize him. Jem needs her to remember him, to show him that their time together meant to her what it did to him. For once in his life he wants to have mattered to someone, to her.

Devon is attracted to the muscular, tattooed, pierced hottie standing by the pub quiz machine. That is, until he punches a guy clean across the bar for daring to touch him. She’s had her fill of violent men and intends to avoid this one at all costs.

Eggcerpt from JEM
I pull back the duvet and try to make as few movements as possible as I crawl in beside her and let the warmth from her body and the duvet envelop me. Her red hair is splayed across my pillow. I reach out and stroke my fingers through the silken strands. My pillowcase isn’t getting washed again. It can smell of her forever so that whenever I lay my head on it, I can pretend she’s with me. Maybe it will be okay to move a little closer. I’m right on the edge of the mattress. If I fall out of bed I’ll wake her. I scoot closer to her, close my eyes and inhale. She smells of roses. Maybe I should get her some flowers. I picture myself holding a bunch of red roses and chuckle to myself. Nah, I’m not the suave type. Maybe I’ll get a rose tattoo to remind me of her scent.

Interview with Jem
1. Job?
I work at an amusement arcade, fixing the machines when they go wrong, handing out change and that kind of thing. It pays my bills, it’s local and the hours suit me.

2. Currently residing in…?
Hemsby in Norfolk. I’ve got a trailer right by the sea. There’s nothing like walking along the beach every morning. It keeps me calm.

3. Level of schooling, or self-taught?
I had to quit school when I was small because my asshole of a father moved us all at the last minute after someone reported him to social services for child cruelty. He never enrolled me in another school. I taught myself all I need to know.

4. Favorite food?
Don’t have one. I eat to live, I don’t live to eat.

5. Most important goal?
To get Devon to remember me and love me again. To take care of her and show her that I never forgot her and never stopped loving her.

Author Michelle AbbottMichelle Abbott lives in the UK and hates describing herself in 3rd person.

She loves to write new adult romance about heroes who begin as the underdog and are protective of their girl.

She’s an avid reader of romance, is addicted to coffee and loves wine and chocolate, so yeah, not the most healthy eating and drinking habits 🙂 She spends way too much time online when she should be writing. She collects teddy bears and occasionally knits a couple of rows on a sweater she started years ago, which she may eventually finish in time to wear for her funeral 🙂
